Elizabeth Taylor’s diamond
The rough diamond that weighed 241 carats was found in the Premier mine in South Africa in 1966. This white diamond was then cut by Harry Winston, resulting in a 69.42 pear shaped diamond. It was bought by the Cartier company, then sold to Richard Burton, in 1969 for his wife, Elizabeth Taylor.
