Purchasing a diamond safelyWe would like to draw your attention to safety issues related to the purchase of a gemstone. A number of dishonest sellers deliver stones that do not correspond to the certificates that accompany them. You must demand two safety requirements from any seller: laser engraving of the certificate number (in the case of a diamond) and the stone must be sealed by the laboratory (all stones). This last measure will give you complete security that your stone is not a fake.
Laser engraving is of course not to be overlooked. Once the stone mounted in jewelry, it will enable you to recognize your gem with a simple magnifying glass (it does not need a microscope). The certificate number must be preceded by the company logo which has inspected the stone and the number must be clearly displayed on the certificate.
